There was one episode where the Alice Hyatt character said, "different strokes." She wasn't referencing the series, she was referencing the old phrase, "different strokes for different folks." But of course it still reminded me of the series. :)

Yes, the thread was poorly created because it never stated who the character Alice was just her real name. The OP made no reference to the episode and i figured it out because I remember it just aired last week
