Yesterday I was watching the episode where Lionel get an Apartment, Lionel and Jenny announce that they are going to more in together and neither of their parents are happy about it and say that they can not live together. Lionel and Jenny were both old enough to make their own decision. They were both Adults, Both 23, Were out of College, They were engaged and the wedding Married in a couple months. They also both had Jobs. I understand that their Parents are from a different Generation where peoples did not live together until they were married and all but I thought they overreacted a bit. I mean Lionel and Jenny were both Adults and and were planning to get married anyway and were both old enough to make their own decisions. George and Louise seem fine until Lionel said that he was moving in with Jenny. But times were different by the 1970s as more couples began to live with each other before Marriage. Also Lionel was 24 and wanted his Privacy.
Also it Interesting that this Episode aired in the same season that Three's Company came on the air about Two Women's living with a single Guy. I know that is different but it just showed how times were changing
