This June 3 1961 episode The Face of Innocence features Alan Hale and Faith Domergue (who co-starred in This Island Earth with Russell Johnson).

In the story, she plays a pretty brunette named Mary Ann!

She’s a struggling sketch artist falsely accused of robbery and murder and she’s helped by salty charter boat captain. And get this. The skipper is NOT played by Alan Hale.

Alan plays Roger, a shy librarian with a green thumb for growing house plants who looks out for Mary Ann.

As I write this from 30K Feet....I find this a weird role for Alan. His character is very much a wussy. Overly sensitive and telling one character off by saying something like "you're not a nice man!" Now his role in Passport to Danger is great! A former convict living life on the edge and willing to ship and sell drugs. Plus the dyed hair makes him look sinister.;)
