I noticed that the back cover art for the season 3 DVD is on Amazon.com and noticed something that concerned me; the episode runtime says 568 minutes. Season 2, which contained the same number of episodes, ran 581 minutes. I know episode lengths were getting shorter in the 90s but is it possible that these are syndicated episodes?

Tvshowsondvd.com lists the runtime as 550 minutes. I know the back cover art might be more accurate, but that's way too short if true.

Very well could be a few syndicated episodes.

But consider this - if you average out the difference between the 2nd season set (581 minutes) and third season set (based on 568 minutes), it comes out to be 31.2 seconds an episode.

Well that would be just under 23 minutes if correct, and syndicated are usually 21:51. Plus season 1 eps were usually 24 minutes and season 2 were shorter by around 30 seconds.

Well I bought the DVD today, and the episodes appear to all be unedited. The full theme song is used on every episode and the voice-over in the end credits is not there. Episodes seem to run either 22:18 or 22:48.
