Mash is a show of subliminal stimuli. That is when you get a message received by your brain but you are not consciously aware of it. To do this filmmakers sometimes flash words on a screen so fast that you do not remember seeing them but subconsciously your brain has picked up those very words. I have no proof that the creators of Mash ever flashed words on the screen very fast but they did submit subliminal messages all the same with bits of quick anti-american and anti-South Korean sentiments your brain may not have consciously picked up. Mash is a show where you have to watch the ep over and over again to get all the details so many outright shown details are rather subliminal. Consider the ep about the propaganda bomb.There is a quick moment in the ep where they pick up anti-american sentiments on the radio when they are trying to get to listen to a football game. Or the ep about the bus where Hawk, BJ and Radar meet the North Korean commie soldier and he later fixes their broken bus at the ep's end saving them from being stranded. These nearly subliminal stimuli make you actually kind of disdain America and capitalist South Korea and like the actually deadly Communist North Korea!
