Most of us, when we have field mice keeping us awake, we set traps to kill them. But this guy, although with good intentions, can't keep one alive.

Something like that happened to me. I had a put a insect trap in our garage and it was really sticky. Later I went out to the garage and I saw a tiny lizard stuck in the trap. So after a long time I got him off the sticky stuff. I tried to wipe off the glue but it was hard. Then I put him outside thinking he would be okay. Later I walk out there to see if he was gone and I was shocked to see a pile of ants on him. I felt awful. So I know how this guy feels.

This is why I don't believe in animal/insect(etc) traps of any kind, they're cruel and inhumane, I doubt any of us would like it if it were us in the traps

OH Nuts!

Mice as pets can be cute. But, on the other hand when they're infesting an apartment or home they're vermin. They can contaminate food, carry dangerous bacteria and diseases and even start house fires because they sometimes like to gnaw on wires. Given this, they have to be driven away.

Unfortunately, there's no nice way to kill them. All have gruesome/unpleasant drawbacks. THANK GOD I found something effective that repels them - pure peppermint oil. They HATE the smell and just go someplace else far away. I hope I never have to go back to killing them, which would be a LAST resort. I would never let an infestation take hold; and risk a fire in my apartment.
