The ABC News show did beat Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Fallon this week.

Well Nightline is not the same w/o Ted Koppel, but I do enjoy some of the new faces, but I <3 JuJu Chang

But also, Nightline goin' up against Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel, IMO is NOT such a HOT IDEA after all

....basically concerns itself with five subjects:

1) SEX

2) CELEBRITIES

3) LIFESTYLES

4) ANIMALS/NATURE

5) SELF-PROMOTION
{in the last category, ABC, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, and ANIMAL PLANET take advantage of this, as most of the nature footage comes from the latter two sources}

And if there's a "serious" news story, that's covered, too. But not TOO serious, or the audience from "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" won't stick around.

Frankly, I'm stunned to learn that this is still on the air.

I haven't watched Nightline since the 1980's. lol
