Watching an Episode of Season Four of Lassie called The Tooth I noticed the background music was the same that I've heard on several ZIV Titles including Bat Masterson, Science Fiction Theatre and Sea Hunt

Also, in Season Ten's The Disappearance the Airplane from ZIV's Ripcord makes a cameo appearance. :wave: I know Lassie was NOT a ZIV Production, yet I sense some kind of connection. Does anyone know if there was one or not?

Frederick Ziv was the founder-owner of the outfit, which was purchased by United Artists in 1960 [the TV company was known briefly as Ziv-United Artists in the early '60s].

Ziv was the company that produced numerous shows for first run syndication including Highway Patrol and Sea Hunt. In Sea Hunt's later run, the company was renamed Ziv-United Artists.

When I first saw the production company Ziv, I though it was Z4, since IV is the roman numeral for four. But later I found out that Ziv was Frederick Ziv.
