Okay so a guy come banging my door representing a company that's a rival to the power company I deal with. I was once with the rival company and left because I get better service and rates with my current one. So this door to door guy stars asking me if he can do a survey with me asking me questions about my company; saying it will only take 15 minutes. So I am like, No! I am sorry but I am busy and don't have the time. He is like oh please it will only take 15 minutes and we would like to tell you about our company. I said no again. and he just starts asking the questions as if I had said yes. I closed the door in his face and he left. 10 minutes later he comes back knocking at my door again saying he could do it in 10 minutes. I said i am very happy with my company and do not want to change. and he just kept pushing and pushing, saying well I have to do this and so do you because your power company requires it. I called him a liar and said if you don't leave I am calling the cops. So he gets smart with me. "Oh go ahead and call them," he said. "I am just doing my job." I finally slammed the door in his face and he left and didn't come back. I don't believe some people. I was so furious I wanted to throw him off my porch. OMG!!! SOME PEOPLE :mad:

You should have a sign on your door like I have. " NO SOLICITING "
If that doesn't work, get one that says " ANGRY MAN WITH GUN LIVES HERE "

Report him to the Better Business Bureau!!

Report him to the company he works for.

Or you could place a "Beware of Dog" sign on your door - even if you don't have a dog!!!

I like the idea of reporting him to his company. And calling the police. That salesman is BEYOND pushy...he is rude, inappropriate and dishonest.
