I was wondering if it is going to be worth getting the complete series re release. Does anyone know of the original music is intact, or if it's the same as the releases from years ago with some music intact but some replaced.

Same prints and missing music as the Image Entertainment releases.

I recently read (https://www.hometheaterforum.com/community/threads/hearts-afire-on-blu-ray-dont-count-on-it-redux.361221/) that the show in all likelihood, only exists in standard definition video masters (with the "CBSStereoSound" logo shown at the beginning of each episode). We don't know where or if 35MM elements are available.
The underlying rights are currently controlled by John Ritter's estate and Mozark, and they decide how and when it can be released. It has thus far, seen two DVD issues, one by Image Entertainment (now RLJ), and the most recent one by Mill Creek Entertainment.
