Does anyone know who played Millie Davis in the episode, "A Man's Pride?"

I do not know her identity, but it has been bothering me for some time. It is not on IMBD nor do I see her identified anywhere else. I know The Honeymooners had guest stars who worked in radio as well as the theatre. Perhaps that was what she was best known for. I will keep looking. Someone must know her identity. Most of the other guest stars from The Classic 39 have been identified by now. She seems to have slipped through the cracks.

I posed this very question on a couple of Facebook groups and in the comments of the youtube link for this video, with no reply.

It appears the mystery has finally been solved. IMDB is now listing Virginia Damon (1915 - 2010) as the actress who played Millie Davis. She had a limited acting career but did appear on The Jackie Gleason Show 6 times. Her husband Les Damon also appeared several times on The Classic 39 of The Honeymooners, and also The Jackie Gleason Show. Just Google her for more information. She also performed on radio and in the theatre, as I suspected. Her obituary has a lot of information and is easy to find. So there you have it.

The claim of Millie Davis being portrayed by Virginia Damon has been made many times in the past. In fact over a decade ago she was listed and then removed in IMDB. I am almost positive it is not Virginia Damon.

Other than Gleason & The Honeymooners, the only other acting credit for Virginia Damon is The Beulah Show from 1950-1952. She did 7 episodes. This is the only pic I can find of her on this show.
