Help! it's been a while since I've posted but am baffled now! Yes, MeTV started showing it at 5:30 a.m. here in L.A. but for some reason my cable-box doesn't record that network BUT changes over to our Ch.2 (KCBS) ! frustrating indeed! MeTV hasn't responded to my email and my cable Co. wants 2 send a technician out and am way 2 busy. I record on every network and am so pissed off! Also, I've contacted QUESTAR and CBSDVD who'd released the 5th/6seasons and neither has plans to continue the dvd releases ! I so want to be able to FINALLY see seasons 10/11 as they haven't been included in ANY syndication/rerun package since they first aired on CBS in 1964!

this show DESERVES a proper DVD release; with extras, starting from season 1!
But from what I hear, sadly that'll never, ever happen and the only way we can see the Jean Hagen episodes is on bootleg DVDs. A damn shame.:(

I'll bet MeTV's package stops after season 9. I don't think 10 and 11 are available (if so I'd like to know why!)

Bad news on S10/S11--according to the on screen TV Guide the final S9 episode is scheduled for 4/19 (I think) and the 4/22 episode is S5 Ep 2. So, no S10 or 11. I would REALLY like to see these somewhere!

Sorry, Ep 9-31 is 4/12 and Ep 5-2 is 4-15. Either way, bad news!

WGN-TV in Chicago in 1967-69 ran the Make Room For Daddy season when the Williams went to Europe. I'm not sure what season that was, but some episodes featured Danny and Kathy in Europe, and the others featured Rusty Hamer, Angela Cartwright and Amanda Randolph back at home. I haven't seen these episodes since then. It's too bad a comprehensive restoration of all the episodes couldn't be undertaken similar to the way that Ozzie and Harriet is being restored. This was one of the best sitcoms of it's time. This WGN package of syndicated reruns only had the last season or two of the series. WGN ran I Love Lucy and Make Room For Daddy back-to-back and dubbed it "The Lucy-Danny Comedy Hour" to cash in on "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" which had just finished it's last network summer run in 1967.

This would be season 11 and season 12. I suspect the syndication is split in a similar way as My Three Sons. If that's true, MRFD S11 and S12 would be paired with MRFD S1 - S4, which haven't been seen on TV in years (these would be the Jean Hagen S1-S3 and Danny single S4 episodes).

I have 3 Jean Hagen episodes on an ultra-low price Digiview disc I got years ago at Walmart. Given the low price (about $1.00) the three episodes were absolutely complete with original commercials and ABC bumpers. The film quality wasn't bad either. Nothing was edited as in my season 5 set, probably because these shows were not seen in syndication as much as the later ones.
