It gets worse. To get him the Bears actually traded up to move up one spot. Besides swapping the 2 and 3 pick, they also gave up 3 other picks, so Trubisky cost them: - No. 3 pick (which turned out to be DL Solomon Thomas) - No. 67 pick, Round 2 (which was later traded to the Saints, who selected RB Alvin Kamara) - No. 111 pick, Round 4 (later traded to the Seahawks, who selected S Tedric Thompson) = No. 70 pick, Round 3 in 2018 (LB Fred Warner) Thomas is currently a back up on the Jets, Kamara turned out to be really good, Warner having success in SF.
