I'm new to this board, I've been lurking for about 2 years and finally decided to register.

I don't think it's been posted yet, but Happy Days is airing on the Hallmark Channel (Dish channel 185) Monday-Friday 2:00-4:00PM. 4 straight episodes.

I was watching it on The Hub throughout 2011 & 2012, then it slowly disappeared. It is also on The Inspiration Channel (Dish 259) Monday- Friday 6:00-7:00PM.

It seems like The Hallmark Channel is starting at the beginning(1974 episodes).

I've enjoyed reading this forum, now I will reading and posting also!

Happy New Year everyone!

Welcome to the forums! I was changing channels and saw "Happy Days" was on tonight. Wow, the print looked kind of fuzzy to me. Did it look like that on the other channels?

I thought so too? Really poor quality, I AGREE+
Certainly not DVD quality that's for sure!

Wow, that was the same look Hallmark had for Bob Newhart. That station is trash

They must broadcast in analog or are using projector film or something?

I'm sure they're probably just not using the newest remasters.

That's what it looks like. Either that or they bought the prints from the back of a unmarked van.

Even the audio is bad on Hallmark too. When it was time for a commercial, the commercials were BLASTING ABOUT FIVE OCTETS HIGHER!

My Network TV has also started from Season 1 again. They look to be top-quality prints.

Or left them out in the sun for a month. Not to mention the terrible editing of the show, like cutting scenes off in mid sentence etc.Typical of many cable channels. It's not ony Happy Days I noticed some cable channels are using very poor quality prints on a few other other shows too.

Saw Happy Days on Hallmark the other night and I didn't think the quality looked bad

Hallmark hasn't been known to care about quality. They don't even air the final-season episodes of Frasier in HD, even though they originally aired in the format on NBC.

Hey I dont care really. Kinda adds to the nostalgia. I have been out of work from surgery and have thoroughly enjoyed watching all day! Felt like a kid again!
