Megan Ganz Leaving "Community" for "Modern Family"
01/03/2013

Megan Ganz, a popular writer on NBC's "Community", is leaving the series for a job with "Modern Family". Ganz, who's written "Community" episodes such as 'Basic Lupine Urology' and 'Cooperative Calligraphy', made the announcement on Reddit.

"Recently, I was offered a job writing for 'Modern Family,' and although it's unclear what will happen with 'Community' for the fifth season (or the sixth season, or the movie), I've decided to take this new position," she wrote.

"Tomorrow is my first day and I'm excited and scared to start this new ... well, everything. I'm sure the coffee will probably be the same."

Both awesome shows! I'm sure this will be great for Modern Family, but I hope Community is able to keep growing too. Seems like it's become more of a niche-audience show.
