They are saying it will loom larger than a full moon! I think that they said that about "Hale Bopp"? :rolleyes: I hope that it will be! I would love to see a large comet!:D

In 1997 I looked at Hale Bopp through binoculars and could see the tail. It was in the northwestern sky. It looked like a large star or planet with the naked eye but the tail was visible through the binoculars. Back in around 1915(not sure of the year) when my grandma was a little girl she saw Haley's comet . It was huge and she said that at the time they thought that it was the coming of Christ or the end of the world! Back then they had no warning of it so it was a total shock/surprise! I guess it would be if one had no prior knowledge of such a thing!:eek:
