I'm wondering if the original plan for the Cosby kids did not include Sandra. I say this because in the pilot episode, all four other kids are being bratty and Claire says to Cliff "why did we have FOUR kids?" And Cliff says "Because we didn't want five."

So I suppose Sandra wasn't thought of for a while. :confused:

It has been said that as the show progressed, they wanted to have a product sample of their foundational principle that was laid as parents. So, in later eps, we heard about Sondra off screen and then she debuted during the thanksgiving episode.

I don't think they really needed to add her character. There were plenty of good stories revolving around Denise, Theo, Vanessa and Rudy.

Well, maybe so but then again, it was a good idea because it produced for some great moments where Sondra was a centerpiece like when she gave birth to the twins. The debut of her character, Elvin, her going crazy during the season five finale. LOL.

I love the scenes with her and Elvin. :lol: :lol: :lol: I liked Sondra.

I remember watching on The E! True Hollywood Story that Rudy was initially supposed to be a boy. But I like that Theo was the only boy in the family.
