Notice a picture of Kirk Cameron, who turned 43 on October 12, on the front page of the article (included here too).

What does Kirk's age have to do with this? Just another useless post to try to convince everyone here that he is one year older than he actually claims. Every source out there states that he was born October 12th, 1970 so deal with it.

Well, the site is right.

Kirk Cameron hates gays despite anything he may say to the contrary. He even implied that he wouldn't be able to accept the possibility of one of his kids coming out as a homosexual.

The bold/italic portion of this above statement is not only pointless to the topic, but it is also factually incorrect.

For the zillionth time, nobody cares about 42 year old Kirk Cameron's age, weirdo.

I would disagree with that. I don't know that I agree with Kirk Cameron in all his views or anything, but I do agree with him in believing Christ as Savior. And it's because of that faith in Christ that I don't think Kirk would hate anyone. The Bible does say homosexuality is a sin, but it also says to love one another. I have heard Kirk say plainly in interviews that he does love everyone and in fact has friends who identify as gay and he obviously cares about them too. I think what Kirk Cameron was saying regarding the possibility of one of his kids struggling with the temptation to give in to homosexual feelings and urges is that he would have to remind them of what is right and what is wrong. And just because one might struggle with this temptation more than others doesn't make it right to give in to it. Some people also struggle with kleptomania but it doesn't make it right to steal.
I know a lot of people disagree with this view and that's okay. But for Christians who hold to what The Bible says, this is the stance that we must take. Jesus said that if we would come after Him, we must deny ourselves, take up our cross daily and follow Him. And we must reach out to the world in love, whether we agree with people or not. When we disagree, we must learn to disagree agreeably. Everyone must choose what they will believe about Jesus and The Bible. And no matter what anyone chooses on that, Christians are commanded to love one another.
