Fantastic news! GI is great, timeless comedy with something for everyone. Wonder of it will climb any higher? It would be interesting to see S1 in colour, but only if the colour was as strong and sharp as S2 and 3, not pale or washed out.

But I would still prefer it in b&w, the way it was filmed. Season 1 is quite magical.

Yaaaaay, GI! Just goes to show you that some things are timeless.

The colorized Season 1 was so pale and awkward, not bright and happy like the others. I always prefer things in their original form, though. Season 1 manages to be magical, like Teebs said, even in black and white. That's quite a feat. :)

Can you help me figure out something?

I tried to upload a simple 185 kb jpg screenshot from my computer.
Why does it fail?

At the top of the upload screen, it says

GilliganAmazon.jpg:
Could not find phrase 'upload_invalid_image_extension'.

What does that mean?
Is this my fault? Am I doing something wrong?
Is there a way to fix it?

Where are you trying to upload it? To this post? I've never tried to upload a picture to a reply before!

But you can Manage Attachment with a Full Reply on bottom left.
(not with a quick reply though)

I will try again.
I click manage attachments.
In separate window, Choose File from Computer.
Upload. I see it upload by increasing %.
Then
Upload Errors.
Could not find phrase 'upload_invalid_image_extension'.
Like before.

Did the website change protocol?

I finally got picture to upload by changing it from JPG to GIF.

By the way, Gilligan popularity changes daily. Today it was #5 on Amazon.
