I was watching this episode recently off my DVR and I must say that I took the side of Raymond on this one. As a person who was also bullied on the bus, I can see why he felt the way he did - and of course I see why Debra reacted the way she did because she was what I call "the mean girl." She was supposed to be smart but it took her the whole episode to see why bullying was wrong? Though it was done in comedic manner I could see the pain that Raymond still felt from those days and Debra just dismissed it all, including when she discovered that HER daughter was the bully. I don't have kids, but if I did and I discovered that they were bullying someone, they wouldn't be able to sit down for a week! It all comes back to leading by example and I don't think Ray was off the mark when he told Debra that she was the reason for Allie's beavior.
