I wish I had the Goodlife Channel and the Hallmark Channel. The Hallmark Channel has great shows like Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie and ALF and My Three Sons. Goodlife has Ozzie and Harriet, Mayberry RFD, The Danny Thomas Show, Highway to Heaven and other great series. Does anybody get either of these channels?

I wish I had Hallmark and Goodlife too!
Also fX, WGN, and yes Oxygen because of Kate & Allie.

I wish I had Toon Disney, WGN, Lifetime, and Goodlife.

I have Toon Disney. I also have FX, TV Land, Trio, Oxygen, Nick GAS and WGN

I'd love to have Toon Disney. DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale, Darkwing Duck, Talespin--classic Disney Afternoon cartoons!

I may get Goodlife, since I have digital cable, never checked into it, but I love Mayberry RFD.

I wish I had Goodlife Channel as well as Turner South. However, I don't live far enough south to get that, otherwise I could get it because Directv offers it.

I get TVLAND, two Nickelodeons (and therfore, 2 Nick and Nites, same schedule, different times), Hallmark, WGN, TBS, Turner South, and locals for classic shows.

The only one I don't have that I would want that I don't get is Goodlife (not offered with Dish Network)

As for TV shows that I would like to see, there are more than 50 that I've only seen once or twice or ever at all...

How come you get KDSM on channel 4? Man, Mediacom (right?) is getting strange, which is why we have a dish. And now a $10 rate hike. :rolleyes: They showed people on the news taking back their cable boxes left and right.

I want Game Show Network added to my line up in the worst way!!!! (Actually, it's on the optional digital upgrade, but it's the only major channel that I really want my cable operator to move to analog.) They have done this for Food Network and Golf Channel so GSN I would give anything for. The digital upgrade is a bit too expensive since we already have HBO/Showtime in addition to standard service.

The channels we have are crappy because I only live in a town with only 415 people.

I'm surprised we got WB cause everyone else got it in their cable and we had to switch to antenna if we wanted to watch it. All Churdan residents were bitching to the cable company about that so we finally got it in regular cable.

This is weird though.....back in '97, we got TV Land before Nickelodeon.

We don't get Mediacom, we get some crap Tele Services cable company in Breda (Near Carroll), and Grand Junction gets the same exact channels as Churdan does, only they don't get ESPN2. So Grand Junction has 24 channels.

Now THAT sucks!

Talk about an old thread. I have every one of those channels now except Hallmark and Goodlife. I watch Oxygen pretty much for O2BE because it has Frank Conniff and he starred in my favorite show of all time "Mystery Science Theater 3000." I don't watch Trio a lot anymore. I have WGN and that is on channel 3 on Time Warner Digital Cable in San Diego, California. WGN doesn't have a lot of shows that we don't see very often (Happy Days {unless you get TV Land}, Matlock, The Cosby Show).

I wonder if Happy Days is given worse treatment by WGN than TV Land does.

Turner South and GoodLife TV. I have Trio, Oxygen, fx, TV Land and others because of DirecTV. My cable channel choices have gotten much better over the past 2/3 years, but decided to go with satellite instead.

My cable offerings 3 years ago only offered around 43 channels. Now we have 70 channels, but no TV Land, Hallmark, Oxygen, Game Show Network or E!

Thank god for satellite! LOL.

There are no channels that I actually want.... I have 700+ channels and still not a thing to watch most of the time..

We have a new feature on Time Warner Digital Cable which is very cool! It's called "I Control" and it enables you to order PPV movies and "Subscription Channels" and select from about 50-100 choices every couple of weeks. What is cool is that let's say you order a PPV movie on I Control. You are able to have "VCR like control of that movie on your digital terminal for 24 hours without a VCR. You can play, pause, stop, rewind, and Fast Forward your movie, and watch it whenever you want

For the subscription I Control channels, you have to pay the original monthly charge of $12.95 for the premium channel but then for $6.95 more you can get I-Control channels for any channel you subscribe to! Currently, Time Warner has HBO On Demand, Cinamax On Demand, Showtime on Demand, and Movie Channel on Demand. The subscription channels function like the PPV I-Control listed above

Free I Control is coming to us for such channels as Food Network, Cartoon Network, CNN, Biography Channel, Court TV and a couple of others. But what is REALLY COOL is that Time Warner is coming out with a new Digital Recorder that functions also as a digital cable box. This terminal will allow you to record 40-45 hours of programming, pause live TV, record multiple shows at once, do live "instant replays" all WITHOUT a VCR or tapes! (You can either record and leave your choices in the box's memory or transfer them to your VCR tapes if you want to keep them a long time.) It's about $8.00 more per month and I personally don't do a lot of taping, but for people with busy schedules, it's pretty cool! None of this is offered at all through a satilite dish.
