This is a review of the homemade set going around on this board and ioffer.

I am so glad that someone took the time to make the set of this good show. It was very unfortunate that Sony discontinued making the rest of the series available on DVD after the release of season 1.



First: You get 23 DVDs which includes Gloria episodes. Gloria was an American situation comedy that lasted one season on CBS, from September 1982 to April 1983 starring Sally Struthers. The episodes are found on the last 3 discs,

Second: The quality of both shows varies from a 7 to 8. The show was recorded on VHS off of UPN in the early 90s I'm guessing from the promos I saw during some of the episodes. There are very limited commercials in the set.

Third: The duration of a majority of the episodes are 21:30 to 22:00 but there are some episodes that are composed of many different airings of the show (I'm guessing that every channel played a different edit of the show) to make an unedited 24:14 to 25:00 minute episode. I find it amazing that someone took the time to do that.

This is a great set considering that only 1 season is available on DVD.
