Amen will come to TBS starting Monday Feb 11, 2002! Weekdays 6:30AM/ET

WooHoo!!!

After a five year hiatus on TBS, it's back and I'm glad about it. TBS aired it weekday mornings at 8:35am and then pulled it after 2 months to give The Brady Bunch an hour block. I loved the Brady Bunch but hated that TBS pulled the plug. It also aired on BET for 2 years and then the plug was pulled last year.

I'll miss Cosby but I think this show is cool and deserved a timeslot on a major network--hopefully it's here to stay!

Oh my, it leaves after May 24th! Replaced by a second episode of Coach...

Hopefully it won't be replaced by Coach for long since Coach is coming to N@N.

I spoke to Jennifer in programing TBS this morning after 11am. She did confirm that "AMEN" is not on the schedule for June nor July. She said the show was a temporary filler and there was a good chance that the ratings had something to do with it. I have access to the E-Mail address for TBS. For those of oyu who want to see the show continue on, I'll post the address and beg of you to please sign. I will really miss this show.

Hmm I have just learned it will not air week of May 27th. But it will return to TBS June 3rd, weekdays at 6:30am. Wonder what is going on?? Bosom Buddies will air 7-8am Saturdays starting June 1st!

That's great! I'm happy "Amen" will not be gone for long, and I can't wait to see "Bosom Buddies"

pavanbadal, I sure hope that you are right. I would love to see the show continue. Do you realize the network will have dropped at a time where the storyling is between a five and six parter story about Thelma joining the Army. Then I want to see the wedding episode when Rueben and Thelma finally get married and see the last season aired for a change. Pavanbadal, how did you find out?

The Program Exchange said TBS still has the rights.

All right! The show is staying! I checked the schedule and it did originally have "Coach" on at 6:30am but was changed for "AMEN". This is so awesome. This is really teriffic. This made evening.

Yes it will also air the week of May 27th after all! So it won't even have a week off! Disregard my message saying it will not air after May 24th. It will continute airing at 6:30am weekdays until further notice.

It's scheduled throughout July. TBS will start the run again in July. I can't wait to see episode #2 when Nell Carter beats up the deacon again. Did anyone tape the ep with Jackee in it?
