In the jet pack episode, Gilligan accidentally sets off the jet pack twice

Which one was worse?

The first time because it used up nearly all the jet packs fuel.

I think It was the 2nd one. Because it wasn't strapped on and took off by itself and ruined their chance of using it again and getting rescued.
