View Full Version : Isn't it a shame that Antenna TV and Me-TV wasn't around between 2002-2006?

The 2002-2006 the HIGHLIGHT YEARS of SitcomsOnline and even without those two channels, we had so much fun talking about tv shows. Now can you imagine how fun this site would have been if Antenna TV/Me-TV was around 8 years ago?

This site would have been LOADED with activity every single day but since something called FACEBOOK was created before Antenna TV, we will never ever know how great this site could have been during that time:(

I agree. This site could have been greater than it was. Remember all those threads yelling at TV Land & N@N?

All those 80's shows would have had life like

Benson
Different Strokes
Three's a Crowd
Who's the Boss

Message Boards that were DEAD at that time because none of those shows were in syndication between 2002 and 2006:lol:

Me-TV actually originated in Chicago, launching on Jan. 1st, 2005. It wasn't until December of 2010 when the station went national.

Antenna TV on the other hand, originated much more recently, launching on Jan. 1st, 2011.

Not becoming national until 2010 still means it wasn't around in 2002 to 2006

I dont know if Facebook took a lot of the posters away. Im on Facebook and come here as well. The thing is that I think we've posed and answered every type question that there is about old shows and present ones. Really, when you think about it, what else is there to ask without sounding repetitive?

I learned that as long as a show airs regularly then it's always something to talk about. But the flipside of that is even if a show airs every night it may not matter if there are no fans on the board like

George Lopez
The Office
Seinfeld

Don't forget twitter. Lots of people use twitter.

Even the chat rooms on AOL are dying.

I missed the good old days too.

The Internet chanced a lot since the late 1990s

I remember when chat rooms were the up and coming hip thing. Now it all seems so dated compared to social networking sites.
