The name of the man you're talking about is Brian Stanley Duecker. In 1991 he attempted to get on a small plane at a regional airport in Paducah, KY and when he was denied, he jumped on the wing of the plane as it was taking off. Once it became airborne and reached about a certain altitude, he fell off. At the time of the segment airing he was yet unidentified. I think I read somewhere he either had a history of mental problems or suffered from schizophrenia. I also want to say he was a marathon runner and was something of a local athlete where he was originally from.
