I have always loved Law & Order SVU but when Chris Meloni left, it started to come unraveled. Last season was good, but this season, I find some of the episodes just not keeping my interest like they use to. I'm not into Danny Pino or the blonde chick at all. It seems the chemistry and dynamic is gone. Last week's episode, with Patricia Arquette just didn't keep my attention at all. It was hailed as Arquette's finest performance, but I have seen her in much better.
Are we seeing this great show come to an end?

Meloni seemed to see the writing on the wall. When SVU became the "All About Olivia Hour", it just crumbled. I did like Cold Case and Danny Pino was good in that.
One of the strengths of SVU (and all of the L&O shows) was its ensemble acting. Once the cast got smaller and they stopped doing mostly sex crimes, it all went downhill. No Alex Cabot, no Casey Novak, no George Huang, very little Melinda Warner and ESPECIALLY so little airtime for MUNCH - awful!! Practically the only character left relatively unscathed is Fin.
They should just call it a day once the season ends. It's not watchable anymore.
I agree with you both, it doesn't seem nearly as good without Chris Meloni, wish he'd stayed around until the end. The episode with Patricia Arquette was okay, I miss seeing her since Medium was cancelled. I am wondering if this will be the last season though. Anyone know how it's doing in the ratings?

I have watched very few episodes since Chris left. The show is not the same.

I agree they have lost their focus, but I liked Patricia Arquette's episode.
