Why is Zooey Deschanel # 17?
Zooey Deschanel, the entertainment world’s reigning queen of quirk, was nominated for her very first Emmy in 2012 for playing the uproariously dorky Jessica Day on Fox’s "New Girl".
While this doe-eyed beauty’s career may have been kicked off on the silver screen, Zooey’s well on her way to conquering the television world as well. But this should come as no surprise, as Zooey’s already a double threat.
The alternative country duo in which she sings lead vocals, She & Him, won their first Grammy earlier this year.
