The first thing that I would like to mention is that I am quite surprised that no one has responded to my last thread. Like I mentioned before Elmo-bashing is clearly one of the favorite hobbies of this generation! It seems as if everyone who grew up with the old-school "Sesame Street" loves to ramble on and on about how his character ruined the show! I would think that just mentioning his name would cause dozens of posters to have a field day on how terrible he is! Go figure!

In any event, I notice that, although my last thread has no replies, it has twenty-one views. Twenty-one years ago it was 1991. I would like to commemorate this event by writing about something that happened in 1991. The thing that I am going to mention is that the TV show "Nurses" made its debut. Does anyone here remember this show? It was sort of like a spin-off of both the "Golden Girls" and "Empty Nest". It lasted until 1994. This being the case, it had a two-year overlap with "Mad About You". Although I thought that some of the story lines were okay, I can see why it did not last nearly as many seasons a "Mad About You" did!
