Has anyone watched "The Little Rascals" on TV? I did when I was younger.

I did for a while.

I remember back in the early 1970s the YMCA would show the shorts on a projector :eek: along with Laurel and Hardy. My favorite Little Rascals (Our Gang) shorts was with Jackie Cooper and Miss Crabtree.
Around 1983 CBN or TBS would show the shorts early in the morning.

Plenty of times when i was a kid. Dont care much for it anymore.

I used to when I was a kid , and The Little Rascals frequently aired on television, in the '60's and '70's, before home video. Then many of the shorts were avalible on VHS. I don't notice that they show it on tv, anymore.
I now have The Little Rascals: The Complete Collection, and the WB's The Our Gang Collection (the shorts from 1938-45).

Sol, I assume you're talkig about channel 48. They also used to show them on weekday afternooms in the 60s, I remember watching them when I came home from school. And then in the 90s they used to show them again on weekday afternoons.

I did too back in the 70s it was on LA station UHF 56. I have them all on DVD now. I especially love the short. Our Gang Follies of 1938. The singing was pretty amazing for kids. Although I never thought Carl Switzer (Alfalfa) was a good singer. I did like Darlas singing.

I think Alfalfa's crooning was supposed to be a joke. I don't think anybody though he was really a good singer. :lol:

yea, it was supposed to be a joke. Part of it was that everyone thought he was a good singer.

Used to watch it as a kid on Sunday mornings.

I used to watch it on occasion.It used to the air quite often on TV especially during the 1970s and 80s,now I don't even know if any channel shows it.

I have all the episodes on VHS, I bought the set at a Garage Sale, the fellow let me have them for a Buck! :D

In 1974 our local channel used to show The Little Rascals and Three Stooges in an hour block after school. I used to love that show.

Watched them in 2001-02 when AMC showed them with the Stooges back-to-back. I wish someone could pick up the Hal Roach-produced films again. Can you imagine, say, LMN acquiring the rights to them, along with the Stooges-maybe when AMC's rights expire-and showing them back-to-back on weekends?

I watched it when my family was living in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

Not the original shorts, but The Little Rascals 1994 film VHS tape I have was recorded from an ABC broadcast back in the late 90s.

During the 70's they would show them on Saturday afternoon followed by Shirley Temple and Abbott & Costello.

Yep same here, in the early 80's I would wake up early Saturday mornings not to watch cartoon but because KTLA would air The Little Rascals at 7am followed by The Three Stooges at 8am.

And I always wondered why they were known as "Our Gang", it wasn't until years later I found out The Little Rascals was given for the syndicated shorts.
