It's been driving me crazy all day at work!! So, The Golden Girls popped into my head today at work, as it often does pop into my head at random times because this show was just that amazingly awesome...anyway, I remember a line Dorothy said to someone that begins something like (and I'm really paraphrasing it here) "When your kids are young, you try to protect them from the bullies on the playground. But then they grow up and you realize there are still bullies out there...." Something like that.
Now after letting it stew, I am thinking that this is from the episode where Dennis cheats on Kate and a distraught Kate comes to Dorothy. Dorothy is unhappy when Kate decides to take Dennis back and this line is from the talk Dorothy has with Dennis in the kitchen, but I'm not sure. I haven't seen The Golden Girls in 2 months, and I'm having withdrawals!! Also, can someone complete the quote for me?
Thanks!!!
