Was UM a part of anyone else's childhood? I was born in '90 and I have vague memories of the unforgettable theme and Robert Stack's voice from around 1995 or 1996. It scared me but I didn't understand why. I feel so lucky watching the Episodes now, as an adult, seeing all the sad and tragic fates many of the show's subjects met--at ages younger than I am now.

I vividly remember slumber parties at my BFF's house circa the early 90s, and watching UM "late" at night. Her house had these old photographs of her family's long-deceased relatives from like the early 1900s, and I'd have to walk past them to use the restroom....UM + those pictures really freaked me out big time!

1989 was the first time I watched UM. It was a great show. The type of show that creeped you out but felt compelled to watch. I remember the "carol" episode and the Roswell one. I also remember the LA civil war ghosts that scared me. I remember the turino shroud which was probably my fav seg that year.

I was younger then so i only watched from 89 to 91 and then took the show up again in 03 and since then have watched as much as possible.

Ooooohhh hoooooo heck yes it was. I was born in '80 so I was just old enough to watch the show when it first arrived on TV. I watched it back then purely because it scared the dickens out of me, and clearly I am not the only one. I still love to watch it and I am thankful we still get the occasional update.

When we went to Disneyland in '88, I told my parents we had to be back to the hotel on Wednesday in time for the 8:00 episode of UM. And that's a fact.

I grew up watching the Lifetime episodes, and started watching the show circa 2000 when I was about 10. It was so spooky for me!
