If you go down the page a few posts, you will come to one by me called "Social Studies". This is one of many threads that I have started that deals with my fondness of the third-season episode "Samantha's Protest". I mentioned how, whenever I hear the word disgusting, it always takes me back to what Julie said about the way that Katie positioned her body at the protest in this episode. I thought that Julie looked and acted like the model of decency in this episode! More often than not, my posts about this topic get views but no replies. This one, however, is the exception! Someone has responded twice, and I have responded to both of those responses. But, like anything else, the novelty has worn off. In any event, earlier this evening, I was over on You Tube and I watched a "Different Stroke" episode called "Where There's Smoke". It was a typical and higher predictable story about the evils of smoking. If my information is correct, this "Different Strokes" episode was made during the same season as the "Gimme a Break!" episode that I keep writing about. In any event, I was reading the comments section and someone wrote about how he or she thought that the act of smoking looked disgusting. Once I read the words, my mind went right back to what Julie said to Nell right after she spun Katie around and wrapped her own arm tightly around Katie's! Julie was such a little angle! Later tonight I will probably head back to this You Tube episode and tell my buddies there about having written this paragraph here. Hope to see you there!
