I posted my opinion on this episode once before; stating The Hunter was the most hated visitor to GI. I just watched the episode again and I have to say upon further reflection of this episode, I believe this was too dark for Gilligans Island. I think there was just too much cruelty in this story to be on a show like GI. Just my opinion though.

I agree. I think this episode (and it's subject matter) would fit much better on a Sci-Fi show than a comedy.

I can't watch this ep. There's a moment in it where Gilligan shows pure terror. It's just not funny.

I don't like it either. I don't understand why they didn't try to out power him. They kind of just let him do his own thing.

I agree with you. I mean they did overpower Romo was it? And he was stronger than Kincaid.

NEVER did an island guest get his way so much with Ginger than Kincaid did. Maybe she even secretly liked it after not being kissed for so long after being the constant object of men's affections before the shipwreck.

No, she didn't secretly like it. She was there to get Gilligan away from Kinkaid, you could see how uncomfortable she felt while Kinkaid groped and pawed her. I get goosebumps just thinking about it- and not in a good way.

I don't know what in the world they were thinking when they came up with this episode.

The only episode written by the team of Ben Gershman and Bill Freedman, though they also wrote some It's About Times and Dusty Trails.

Too bad they cut out the part where Ginger offers Kincaid to go to the other side of the island for a "private swim" to allow Gilligan a chance to hide out +-
