The following characters did not appear in season 8: Uncle Arthur (Paul Lynde), Gladys Kravitz (Sandra Gould), Abner Kravitz (George Tobias), Phyllis Stephens (Mable Albertson), and Frank Stephens (Roy Roberts/Robert F. Simon).

Kasey did her usual 3 episodes a season.

We should've had more of the Kravitz in season 8.

Maybe that's why season 8 is considered the weakest season. Does anyone know why these characters were not used?
