What a great soundtrack. It's a great addition to any Beatle fanatic's collection. It doesn't hurt that I'm already a fan of about half of these artists, anyway.

Rufus Wainwright's version of "Across The Universe" is probably my favorite track on the CD. On that particular cut, playing guitar and backup vocals is none other than Sean Lennon. The song was also recorded on Sean's birthday (October 9), which happens to also be John's birthday. As Rufus said in an interview, "Spooky!"

But these are probably the best Beatle covers I've ever heard.
