you are only supposed to keep leftovers for 3 days unless you freeze them.

I gave away some of our leftovers to a neighbor that lives alone and shared some with family, we made a much smaller bird this year so really we are just left with a little mac&cheese, green bean casserole, potatoes, stuffing and just a little bit of turkey.

Today I finished all of the thanksgiving leftovers...a turkey wing, some okra salad and macaroni and cheese. I think after today (tomorrow) should be it for eating leftovers.

I love all the thanksgiving leftovers. We had a ham with the turkey for the main meal on Thursday, but some of my dad's old buddies stopped over and gobbled it up!

Sol, if you still have leftovers after tomorrow, you should either put them in the freezer or throw them in the trash.

Turkey and mayo = puke:

A turkey sandwich tastes good to me if it's on rye bread with cheese and mustard.

Sunday is the last day for us because we are moving soon and we want to
clean out the refigerator and freezer. We will be making our famous Turkey
Enchiladas(altered slightly to make them Gluten-Free).

I'm surprised to see all the mac and cheese posts. I've never heard of serving that as part of Thanksgiving dinner.

I know of people who do that, but I never have. Mac and cheese to me does not equal Thanksgiving dinner, but I guess to each his own!!!

Mac and cheese

I like Boston Market's sweet potato casserole side dish, but I've had much better. I also like their creamed spinach side dish.

Their garlic dill "new potatoes" are also okay. It's rare that I go there, but when I do, I usually get a quarter of dark meat chicken, sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach....with their corn bread. I don't ever get their mac and cheese, because I have had much, much better.
