I just viewed Make Room for Daddy early this morning on ME tv after getting hubby off for Black Friday shopping, and was veryfrightened by the actor that played the son's head. It was huge and flat.It reminded me of the movie "Mask" almost. Does anyone else feel this way? I think it probably scared me as a child also. My appologies to all fans of this show, but I'll probably be skipping this series...:faint:

When I first read your post, I thought you meant he was snobby and gave a high opinion of himself. I never did care for the show for I thought Rusty was a bit of a wise cracking kid. As for the Actor Rusty Hamer, we shouldn't make fun of people of what they can't change. Some people are short but they can't help that. As for Rusty Hamer he had a hard time with life and committed suicide ? 20 or years ago.

You're gonna skip a series over someone's perceived "ugliness"?

Lot's of kids have big heads when they're young. It's not really a big deal because their bodies eventually get in sync with it. And it really shouldn't stop you from watching the show.

I thought the show was funny and the cast were great together.

It is indeed one of the very funniest sitcoms made. I never even noticed Rusty's head being big, the thought never occurred to me. But a lot of famous actors had big heads, Humphrey Bogart for one, many of the best actors have big heads. I take an XXL hat myself.

So do I, Hazel. I have to use X Large for my head and occasionally XXL myself. LOL. To not watch a show because of the person's head size is kind of superficial.
