I'm not sure if I've asked about this one before, but here we go. I am sure it was on Unsolved Mysteries. It was about a boy who was raised by a single mother and apparently had no father or siblings. The boy joined this "big brother" program where an adult guy volunteered to be like a father figure for the boy and do father/son activities like fishing and sports and such. The boy and this other guy got along and years later he wanted to find the guy who was like a father to him and he and the guy reunited when the boy got older. Does this one sound familiar?

Yes this was on um! One of my favorite lost loves episodes. I can't recall the name of the episode or their names tho :( Sorry I can't be of more help.
