This cable station has always been a THORN in my A$$. Tonight I went to check what season 9 episode was coming on and I all of a sudden see that roseanne is not coming on at 2am and 2:30am

Instead it was King of Queens at 2am and That 70"s show at 2:30am. So I ask Pav what is going on and find out it was a last minute change. So not only is Roseanne not on TV Land the rest of the week, when the show comes back next week is comes on at 3am and 3:30am

I swear this has to be the most SH*TTY Cable network in the history of Pay TV

Soon as I start getting into the show they remove it.

I;m in another room doing job seeking activities from 9am to 6pm during Monday to Friday like a real work schedule

I don't watch TV during the day because I have rent and bills to pay

you only have 1 TV? That is why you need to see about getting a DVR. Are you still with Comcast? You need to call them and have a little talk especially if you've been with them for a while.

I;m not making myself clear:lol:

When I wake up I get dress and go into the living and turn on my computer so i can do job search related activities from 9am to 6pm with the radio.

Just like i would be doing in a real office. Now since this is a holiday week I will be watching TV the rest of the week during the day because everything is closed the rest of the week. So today is my last day of doing job related activities until 11/26

I understand clearly, it just doesn't make any sense to me since you are at home, you can still have a TV on while you are doing job searches. Sometimes I work from home and I will have my TV on while work.

I have on sports radio talk during the day. TV is not necessary because it will throw me off track

TV Land is one of the worst (If not THE Worst) Channels out there. Consequently I haven't watched it in ages (Haven't watched any Pay-TV Channel since I "Cut the Cord" nearly six years ago).

I originally got Pay-TV (Cable) in 1980 I did a little study concerning Cable TV and here's what I came up with:

In 1980 Gasoline was about $1.10 a Gallon

Basic Cable was $8.00 month

Fast-Forward to 2012.

Gasoline is about $3.30 a Gallon

Basic Cable (The tier you'd HAVE to get to get all the Stations you received in 1980) is (In my City) $129.00 a month.

Folks, in 32 years the price of Gasoline has risen about 300%.

The Price of Basic Cable has risen:

  :angryfire 1,600%!!! :angryfire

I;m always coming up with new strategies so I always preferred not to look at the TV.

Nothing is going on from now until Jan 1st due to the holidays.

So not much job seeking going on these last 5 weeks

What I am sick of is that they started editing the already edited syndicated versions of the show on CMT that TVLand is airing them. When it first aired on TVLand, the syndicated episodes were at least sped up. All for more commercial time. I am glad I have the DVDs.

OH Nuts!

I can (and have!) lived very nicely without TV Land and the "nostalgia" cable channels esp. now that ultra-fantastic Antenna TV can be picked up as a basic channel in my city. Re TV Land the other tired cable sitcom channels - you can have them!

OH Nuts!

I wish I could concentrate like you're able to, but I know the TV would end up pulling me away. But that's me though, because many can work your way.

I know. BLESSED BE TO GOD! I'm glad, so now you can stop with all of the unemployment threads.

But, Roseanne does come on WE, and they have Roseanne Marathons on some Saturdays. I have the flu so I had a Roseanne palooza this past Saturday.
