Canadians have definitely given the world some iconic TV game show hosts
(ahem Alex Trebek), but we've also provided endless hours of cheesy, tacky
game show for the entire planet to enjoy.

Yep, were talking about "Pitfall", "Chain Reeaction", "Bumper Stumpers"
and the like If you didn't know better, you could swear that Canada's
sole export in the 80's was game shows. No Joke.

As a Canadian I remember most of those shows. You forgot "The New Liars Club"!

My favorite of the show's listed was Chain Reaction. It was a revival of a short-lived NBC game that was hosted by Bill Cullen and buried in a noon time slot. The game itself is very simple and I enjoyed playing along at home.

hey listen howilu, i don't want to dumb down you knowledge or anything
now even though I will give you credit for the Bill Cullen reference since
he was the orginal host in America from January 14-June 20, 1980. but you forgot to the mention the other three Chain Reaction host from the franchise. like Geoff Edwwards who hosted it twice starting in 1980 for two weeks when Cullen was filling in for a terminally-ill Allen Ludden on Password Plus and in 1986-1991 when he replaced the original host for the USA Network/Global TV revival for which his name is Blake Emmons who only started hosting fow a few weeks in 1986 before getting replaced by Edwards and of course the third and final host who is the most unpopular and the most hated in the Chain Reaction Franchise is none other than the former fuse VJ Dylan Lane who hosted the short-lived GSN revival from 2006-2007.

so i'm just trying to help you out there, that's all!
