I need help! I'm writing a fanfic that takes place a couple of years after HD ended, and I need to know the name and sex of Richie and Lori Beth's second child. I know that she was pregnant in "Welcome Home" but not in "Passages", because I have them both on tape. But there were like 5 or 6 episodes in between and I looked in the episode guide and couldn't find any mention of the birth. Does anyone remember????? http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Before Richie and Lori Beth's second child was born, HAPPY DAYS already went off the air. Too bad it didn't stay on for another season to hear the news on that, and even how Joanie and Chachi get along, since being married. The ONLY way you would find this out, is if HAPPY DAYS had a REUNION MOVIE, with the EXACT SAME ACTORS in the cast

Yeah, but in the last episode, "Passages", when Lori Beth and Richie crash the wedding (so to speak) Lori Beth is visably NOT pregnant...unless the producers decided to just pretend she was never pregnant to begin with. (You know, like the phenominon of "dissappearing siblings" and babies who suddenly age four years in one season.) Maybe it was just more convenient that way.

It's been awhile since I last watched the final episodes, so I can't comment on the part about her not being visibly pregnant but I can tell you Lynda Goodfriend (Lori Beth) was noticably pregnant in real life when that episode was filmed (November 1983). If she was not showing, they did a good job with the camera work and her clothing.

All I know is, there was NEVER any mention of their second child between the 2-part WELCOME HOME, RICHIE episode and FINAL "PASSAGES" episode, that I know of. All I know is, that FONZIE became a single father, when he adopted that orphan, in the FINALE episode

When Howard and Marion are trying to talk to Richie about choosing between Journalism or script writing, they ask him how much he has saved. When he tells them, Marion says that it will cost that much when Lori Beth delivers.
