yes we all know Mrs.Garrett was a wonderful character and everybody loved her and it would be hard to fill her shoes, but i think beverly ann was wonderful. Cloris Leachman did a great job and was funny! to me the last 3 seasons with the new shop are thr best. I love when the girls are older, no more teenage storylines we get to see grown up storylines and watch the girls grow up and become women. I guess i just dont understand why so many dont like beverly ann or the later seasons.

To tell you the truth the only reason i have watched + kind of enjoyed season 7 to 9 was because of JO & BLAIR: those 2 have always been hilarious to watch cos they get into the most mischief lol!
As for BEVERLY ANN: sorry to say this but she was no needed + the fact that she had absolutely no chemistry with the girls (except with NAT)on & off set...
Why, in real life LISA WHELCHEL + NANCY MCKEON are the only ones close to CHARLOTTE RAE, like BLAIR & JO were lol! I also heard that KIM FIELDS preferred CHARLOTTE RAE over CLORIS LEACHMAN; On the "tv lands awards 2011" you can see LISA, NANCY + KIM standing near CHARLOTTE, whereas MINDY COHN is standing close to CLORIS.

Beverly Ann is a good woman.
