I agree. She wasn't my favorite part of the show, but the last season of George Lopez was off without her. She was an important character in the show.
TVFactFan 11-16-2012, 10:15 PM Carmen was my favorite part of George Lopez. The last season wasn't as good without her.
She was too disrespectful for me:lol:

I did like Veronica, but not as much as Carmen. Her interactions with George were priceless!!

Carmen was disrespectful just like Becky Connor:lol:
Ihavealife2uknow 11-17-2012, 02:17 AM Roseanne.... Crystal. She was my least favorite of Roseanne's friends.
The Facts of Life... George. Although he didn't last that long anyway.
The Brady Bunch... Oliver obviously lol.
The Cosby Show... Sondra
The Office... Dwight Jr. and Jim Jr.

For me on the Office is KEVIN:lol:

Yes
Kevin
Meredith
Darryl
Ihavealife2uknow 11-17-2012, 02:48 AM I like Darryl because he has a lot of lines that make me laugh. Kevin varies. When I first watched the show it was because of Kevin but as I watched more he wasn't as funny as I'd hoped he would be.
Oscar would probably make my list of those who have been around forever that I could do without and would still enjoy the show. There is also Nellie but I'm getting used to her a little bit.

The Office: Andy - I know he's a popular character, but I find him unfunny and annoying a lot of the time. I would have have eliminated this character years ago.
Family Matters: Waldo - I understand Eddie needed a friend, but Waldo was so repetitive and ditzy all the time, lol. He stuck around for a while.
Saved By The Bell: Tori - I don't hate this character with a passion like others seem to. I get why they added her. But Tori barely had any standout moments. Zack, Lisa, Slater, Screech, and Belding would've been fine for those 15(?) episodes. There's barely any standout Tori moments. They were also using the extras more by this point.
Step By Step: Jean - Luc Rieupeyroux - How badly did this character need to be elimated??
Three's Company: Lana and Larry - I think the show would have been just as good (maybe better) without these two characters. At least Lana was gone by the following year.

Andy was never a popular character to me and I'm mad he came from Stamford, CT lol
Yes it did seem unrealistic for someone cool like Eddie to be hanging around a weirdo like Waldo
I never liked Tori either and that leather jacket made her even more unattractive lol
Now, I have never heard a TC fan say they didn't like Larry. Please explain LOL
PrettyinPink55 11-18-2012, 02:09 AM I love all the characters of The Office and wouldn't get rid of any of them!! :D Kevin is priceless!!! His delivery and facial expressions kill me!!! I like Andy too. Meredith is hilarious because she's just 'so you-know-what-y.' Darryl is actually pretty funny too.
As for Saved By The Bell-- I agree 100% with Tori. I didn't think she was necessary either. I didn't like how they just threw her with Zack. They were so incompatible and had no chemistry at all!! Why did they even add her and then end the show with Kelly and Jessie? It just doesn't make sense to me!!! I don't think they even explained Kelly or Jessie's absences. They could've said they went abroad on a high school exchange program or something. Why did they leave in real life?

Okay I'd get rid of her. But everyone else stays!! And I would SO bring back Michael!!!

PrettyinPink55 11-18-2012, 02:27 AM And JAN!!!
I did enjoy Michael and Jan's defunct relationship! I was probably the only one, but I also liked Holly.

I had a feeling you were going to ask about Larry!!!
I have no problem with Larry. I just think of all the characters, he was the most disposable. Three's Company would have been equally as great without Larry in the picture.
Andy is just annoying. I'll take ROY over him at this point, lol.

Tiffani and Elizabeth refused to renew their contracts, so the Tori Scott character was sent in. IMO, Lisa became the female 'lead' and did a good job.
I loved Holly on The Office too!!

Well he was presented in small doses since he had no real reason to be in the apartment unless he and jack was going out to pick up girls lol
Current Sitcoms
Two and a Half Men - Berta and Lindsay - Lindsay is Alan's girlfriend, played by Courtney Thorne Smith who has the ability to suck the life out of every show she's ever appeared in. For more examples of this, read on. As for Berta, I just can't stand her, period. I wish they would replace her with Rose. She was awesome!
Two Broke Girls - Jennifer Coolidge and her fake Polish accent with fake acting ability to match.
The Big Bang Theory - Howard's mom. Her constant yelling is just annoying and unnecessary.
How I Met Your Mother - Barney. His act wore thin many seasons ago.
Happy Endings - Everyone except Elisha Cuthbert. She's the only reason I watch! ;)
Older Favorites
Andy Griffith - Howard Sprague and Deputy Warren
Happy Days - Every character that joined the series after Richie and Ralph left for good.
Family Ties - Nick!!! Possibly the sitcom character that I hated most on any series that I loved and followed every week.
Night Court - Marsha Warfield I just don't like her at all.
Bewitched - Dr Bombay! Dr Bombay! I hate you, please go away!

I haven't seen Howard's mom yet since I been watching the show, only heard her
Buffyboy323 11-20-2012, 01:26 AM Two Broke Girls - Jennifer Coolidge and her fake Polish accent with fake acting ability to match.
The whacky neighbor is a staple of many sitcoms. But Jennifer Coolidge has been overused on 2 Broke Girls. She should pop up here and there. She isn't needed as a regular part of the show.

I have to disagree on both counts. Berta is one of the funniest supporting characters on any show. Every episode she is in, she has a funny line. Howard's mom is a running gag and is always funny. Both have big impacts on their shows, and I enjoy 'em each time! :)

So what was supposed to be the timeline then? That's always confused me.
Is it that Tori just came in the middle and Jessie and Kelly finished off the show or were those episodes taped before the contract thing?

It's confusing because NBC was airing two different cycles at the same time (I believe at 10:00am and 11:00am on Saturdays). We would see Kelly, Jesse, and Tori just an hour apart, LOL.
NBC doubled the number of episodes ordered for the final season. Thiessen and Berkley refused to sign new contracts for these new episodes, resulting in a block of episodes that feature Tori in their place. The graduation episode was filmed before Thiessen and Berkley left. Tori is singing the graduation song with them in one episode, and the next episode she's gone and Kelly and Jesse are at graduation. How awful.

Yes, by all means Howard Sprague - his character was alway like a gray cloud rolling in on an otherwise sunny day.
The other 4 of my five:
MASH --- Rizzo. He was funny as a one off character in his first appearance, but not as a semi-regular.
I Dream of Jeannie --- Jeannie's sister. You'd think having twice as much Barbara Eden on screen would be fantastic, but I never liked the episodes with the sister.
Monty Python's Flying Circus --- all of the animated characters - I never cared at all for those sequences.
The Dick Van Dyke Show -- I could have done without Sally. Middle aged women making jokes about never catching a man is just not funny and gets old real fast.
