Comedy Central is staying in business with its roastmaster general Jeff Ross.
The Viacom-owned cable network has renewed his topical weekly series, "The Burn with Jeff Ross", for a second six-episode season set to premiere on January 8.
"The world is definitely a better place for having Jeff roast it on a weekly basis," said Comedy Central's head of original programming and production Kent Alterman in a statement.
Added Ross: “I'm delighted to be off the road for a while and back to work on The Burn. I consider it my personal mission to roast the world's big shots, bullies, and big mouths every single week. The network only had two demands: that I cut down my cursing by ten percent and my hair by eighty percent.”
