Arnold and Willis are back for another season of one of television's most memorable sitcoms! During the fourth season, Arnold (Gary Coleman) lands in trouble with the law when he tries to join the Gooch's private club, Willis (Todd Bridges) sues the basketball team when he is replaced by another player, Kimberly (Dana Plato) goes on a forbidden weekend skiing trip and Mr. Drummond (Conrad Bain) learns of a love child he had while serving in the Korean War. One of the true classics from the golden era of TV sitcoms, Diff'rent Strokes focused heavily on family values, social issues and big laughs.

There is a 45 second scene where the daughter (and maid) are doing aerobics to a disco song in "health club" that could be edited out as the ep ran 25:12 on tubetime.

I could be wrong, but Tube Time was a service carried by Comcast, which featured classic sitcoms, of which DS was one.

Right, it;s been so long, and I forgot it used to be on Demand and they got rid of it

Uh oh. That scene is largely missing. It appears the song was changed when the scene is joined. There's only about 8-10 seconds of Kimberly alone doing aerobics now. There's a shot of Adelaide and Kimberly doing aerobics that's in the end credits. I think I have it recorded from Tube Time. I will check it.
I just checked the Tube Time episode. The song is replaced on the DVD with a generic disco instrumental. Adelaide is completely cut out of the scene now. If you've seen the episode from a BET airing, it's cut the same way.. only the song has also been replaced.
Does anybody know the name of the original disco song?
The name of the missing song is "Controversy" by Prince. I'm not surprised they didn't could get the rights to it. I'm surprised they just didn't replace it with a generic instrumental instead of cutting out most of the scene.
This is the second time a Prince song has been removed. "I Wanna Be Your Lover" was replaced in "The Rivals" on the Season 2 DVD set.

Wow, that's the one advantage syndication eps have over DVD's

Of course. Prince is a copyright nazi jerk. He's also butt buddies with Warner Music CEO Edgar Bronfman, Jr.

And naturally from the 2nd Season ep. "Valentine's Day Retrospective" as that clip from "The Rival" ep. was shown.
