From stripper to Sexiest Man Alive! Magic Mike's Channing Tatum has landed People magazine's coveted cover.
"My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me,'" the 32-year-old told the magazine. "I told my wife Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked."
Although Tatum has been on screen for eight years, there's no doubt that 2012 was his year, making women faint in Magic Mike, showing his romantic side in The Vow and proving he has comedic chops in 21 Jump Street.
And if those films weren't enough reasons to make him sexy, he's also a sculptor, he quotes Edgar Allen Poe and he wants to start a family with his wife who he met on the set of 2006 movie Step Up.
"I'm ready; I think she's ready," he says. "The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that."
