What are your opinions on the ever popular two or three days of whisker stubble that you see on a lot of actors and other guys. I'm not talking about actual beards or any of the facial hair combinations we guys wear, but the - didn't get around to shaving - look. I think it comes off as pretentious. If a guy had the gumption to put on his trendy outfit, maybe strap on a firearm, and tousle his hair in the morning, he might as well have shaved while he was at it. Also it's uncomfortable on the face of the kisser as well as the kissee. I guess it's supposed to seem cool devil-may-care macho. How do you see it?

I think it's uncouth. And I know if I were a girl I wouldn't want to kiss a guy with fuzzy little valcanos growing on his face.

But I know a girl who does not agree with me. So I guess she has more credibility than I ever will!

I hate facial hair, but those 5 o'clock shadows are the worst because the hair is so coarse. I never would kiss that.

Right now, I'm in the process of growing my beard back, and I'm currently in the itchy-as-**** stage.

Hmmm.....I kind of swing both ways :D

I don't like kissing someone who has the "didn't bother to shave" beard, because as dawsongirl pointed out, those are the coursest, scratchiest and most painful of beards.

As for guys I am not kissing....whether or not I think it looks good or bad depends on two things: what the guy is wearing, and how much growth he has.

Let me explain: if a guy is just wearing like jeans and a t-shirt, or something equally casual, then the few-days'-growth beard doesn't bother me at all. If the guy is dressed up, it bothers me. For the most part, I feel that guys always look better either completely clean shaven or with neatly trimmed facial hair.

As for the how much growth they have thing....this may just be some weird pet peeve of mine, but you know how some guys get their beard like all the way down their neck, down to and sometimes even below their Adam's apple? I cannot stand few-days'-growth beard on those guys, because I hate the hair on the neck, I just think it looks awful. At the very least they need to shave their necks for gosh sakes.

But the absolute worst of all facial hair options is anything that is not kept trimmed! I hate it when guys have these like out-of-control goatees that have hairs of all different lengths.
