Doctor Who and his new companion played by Jenna-Louise Coleman will run into Vastra in the 2012 Christmas Special.

Airing at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 25, the special will feature the Doctor (Matt Smith) traveling through space and time and encountering Silurian Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh) and her cohort Jenny (Catrin Stewart). The special will also mark Jenna-Louise Coleman's official debut as the Doctor's new companion. She previously appeared in the Season 7 premiere.

Executive producer Steven Moffat penned the special.

i'm a little confused - her character Oswin Oswald already died in the season 7 premiere :confused:

i mean *spoilers* and all, but that happened months ago - I don't get it.
