What are your thoughts on the Carrie remake? Julian Moore (name misspelled)should play the mother part good. It's rated pg-13 though or mabe they shouldn't have remade it they should mabe just leave the movie alone?

Not that closer adaptations mean better movie, but it is supposed to be closer to the book than De Palma's. This is the third adaptation, there was the TV movie from the early 2000's with Angela Bettis in the Carrie role.

I remember the TV version. But didn't Carrie survive in the TV Movie? I seem to remember her hiding out from the Law in that one.
